WHY ARE WE IN ISLE OF MAN?
Simple really - the directors and founder of Prosper² call the Isle of Man their home; having either grown up on the island or been resident for over a decade.
We do, however, also have one fresh 'come-over' on the board who immediately fell in love with the island after moving here with his family in May 2016.
The Isle of Man is a great place to operate a business and a wonderful place to live.
Each week at least one of the team is in London for client meetings - a quick flight to London and then the Gatwick express means travel to London takes a little under 2 hours.
Those not familiar with the island immediately think of the TT races, kippers, cats with no tails, George Formby or its past history of somewhat of a tax haven. Although no longer a 'tax haven' the TT still takes place each year drawing huge crowds and the kippers are still excellent.
Heavily involved in the Isle of Man Yacht Club (IOMYC) for many years we've been eager sailors and the MD is pretty good too - he's the current (2016) 505 Classic-class World Champion.
We can be seen on the water every Wednesday afternoon and most Sundays taking part in the IOMYC keel-boat and/or dinghy races.
We're golfers of varying abilities but our Commercial Director, Gerald, plays with a handicap 2. The rest of us play with a higher handicap.
The Island has several golf courses but the best, in our opinion, is the Castletown Golf Links which is in the top 100 golf courses in the British Isles and Ireland.
