What is a Prosper² Rewards Card?

The Prosper² Rewards Card is a pre-funded Mastercard, not a credit card. A pre-funded card allows you to spend only the balance that is loaded onto the card.  You can use your Prosper² Rewards Card at over 35 million locations which display the Mastercard Acceptance Mark.

What should I do if my Prosper² Rewards Card never arrives?

If your Prosper² Rewards Card does not arrive within 10-14 days, please call us on 0203 814 0046.

How do I activate my Prosper² Rewards Card?

Activating your Prosper² Rewards Card and getting your PIN is easy.  Simply send a text message to 07860 024 357 that reads – PIN {Last eight digits of your 16 digit Prosper² Rewards Card number}. This is the long number on the front of your Prosper² Rewards Card.

For example, if your card number is 5302 6901 2345 6789. The message you should send to us should read:

PIN 23456789

Once we receive this message we will return an SMS to your phone with your PIN confirming that your card is now active. Please keep your PIN safe and do not reveal it to anyone. We recommend that you delete the text once you know the PIN.

Please note the texts must come from the mobile number you are registered with. 

What happens if I forget my PIN?

Getting your PIN is easy. Simply follow the instructions above for 'Activating your Prosper² Rewards Card'. Alternatively, log in to your Prosper² Account and click ‘Rewards Card Login’ hover over your name and select PIN Reveal.

If you would prefer a more memorable PIN then you can change it at most bank ATMs within the UK free of charge.

To view your balances and real-time transactions online - Log into your Prosper² Account and click ‘Rewards Card Login’. 

First time login? - Follow the instructions to log in for the first time.  You will need to use the email address associated with your card.

My Original Prosper² Rewards Card doesn't have my name on it. Can I still use it?

Yes, you can still use your original Prosper² Rewards Card even though your name doesn't appear on the card. Make sure you sign the back of your Prosper² Rewards Card because a retailer may validate your identity by comparing your signature on the back of your Prosper² Rewards Card with the one on your receipt (if applicable). Despite the card not displaying your name, it is registered to you personally at your supplied home address. These are the details you would use for online purchases.

The new multi-currency card displays your name. 

Do I have to accept the Terms and Conditions?

Using your Prosper² Rewards Card signifies that you accept the Terms and Conditions.

Can I make purchases for more than the amount remaining on my Prosper² Rewards Card?

Your Prosper² Rewards Card is a pre-funded card and can only be used up to the amount on the card; however, for purchases that are higher than your Prosper² Rewards Card balance, you can use your Prosper² Rewards Card along with another form of payment. If you attempt to make a purchase for more than the amount available on the card without another form of payment to pay the difference, the transaction will be declined.

What currencies are available on my multi-currency Prosper² Rewards Card?

The funds on your multi-currency card can be held in up to 14 currencies simultaneously. 

The currencies available are: GBP, EUR, USD, CHF, AUD, CAD, HKD, NOK, PLN, ZAR, DKK, JPY, NZD, SEK.

When you spend from the card your balance in that currency will automatically be debited from your card balance in that currency.

How do I exchange currencies?

You can exchange currencies by calling Card Customer Services on 0203 7351 735 and requesting a currency exchange.

Can I use my Prosper² Rewards Card at more than one place?

Yes, that's one of the advantages of a Prosper² Rewards Card! You can use your Prosper² Rewards Card at multiple retailers displaying the Mastercard Acceptance Mark for as long as there is a balance remaining on the card.

Can I use my Prosper² Rewards Card at a cash register?

Yes, your Prosper² Rewards Card can be used anywhere the Mastercard Acceptance Mark is displayed.

How do I use my Prosper² Rewards Card at a cash register with a POS Terminal?

When making a purchase using a POS terminal, push “credit” on the keypad. The purchase will be declined if you push “debit”.

Can I use my Prosper² Rewards Card online?

Yes, you can use your Prosper² Rewards Card to make purchases online.

Can I use my Prosper² Rewards Card at an ATM?

No, your Prosper² Rewards Card can only be used for retail, online and telephone purchases, wherever Mastercard is accepted.

Can I use my Prosper² Rewards Card to get cash back at the checkout?

No, you cannot use your Prosper² Rewards Card to get cashback at the checkout.

Can I add more money onto my Prosper² Rewards Card?

No, only points from your Prosper² Account can be redeemed to load the card.  You should always keep your Prosper² Rewards Card so you can receive new loyalty rewards.

How can I check the balance on my Prosper² Rewards Card?

To view your balance and the transactions on your Prosper² Rewards Card, log into your Prosper² Account and click ‘Rewards Card Login’

What should I do if my Prosper² Rewards Card is lost or stolen?

Original Card - If your original Prosper² Rewards Card is lost or stolen, please update your account by accessing your Cardholder account or contact Customer Services on 0845 519 9561 immediately to report it.

New Multi-Currency Card -  If your new multi-currency Prosper² Rewards Card is lost or stolen please log in to your Prosper² Rewards Card account, go to Settings and select “Block / Unblock Card”. Here you can immediately block and unblock your card as necessary and no debits or withdrawals will be allowed. If you are certain the card is lost or stolen, call us on 0207 127 8130 and follow the instructions provided.

How long can I use my Prosper² Rewards Card?

Your Prosper² Rewards Card expiration date is embossed on the front of your card. You can use your card through to the end of the month on the year it expires.  You will be provided with a new Prosper² Rewards Card prior to the expiration date so you can continue to spend your balance.

Can I change my address and telephone number after I have received my Prosper² Rewards Card?

Yes, you can change your address or telephone number by logging into your Cardholder Account or by calling a Customer Service Representative.
